eating fruits and vegetables is healthier than eating fast food.

we should? Unlikely. But you are not the only one!
Life interrupts our best plans!
Palmer Chiropractic Center is just sharing this gentle research-based
reminder of the good eating fruits
and vegetables extends to Lynchburg chiropractic
folks and their friends and family members!
FRUIT AND VEGETABLE INTAKE REDUCES INFLAMMATION AND MAY KEEP
DEATH AT BAY LONGER
Eating right just may allow you to live
longer! Palmer Chiropractic Center sees many Lynchburg chiropractic
patients who’ll love to read this! There is growing
evidence that fruit and vegetable consumption affects all-cause mortality. In a study of over 6000 people over 6 years,
consuming more fruits and vegetables (particularly
in those who had 7 servings or more a day) decreases
all-cause mortality. (1) The variety of fruits and vegetables has an important role in reducing inflammation and
lowering C-reactive protein (CRP) concentrations,
too. (2)
FRUIT AND VEGETABLE INTAKE IMPROVES BMD
Lower bone mineral density (BMD) folks see
more positive results of consuming
more fruits and vegetables and a lower rate of
osteoporosis, too. Palmer Chiropractic Center sees many Lynchburg chiropractic patients with
osteoporosis who want to do what they can to stop,
treat and prevent it. In one report, the more fruits and vegetables
eaten, the higher the BMD and lower the
osteoporosis risk in middle and older age folks. And for those who may not enjoy vegetables, you’re in luck! Fruit
is more likely advantageous
in this regard than vegetables. At least up
your fruit consumption! (3)
HOW TO UP YOUR INTAKE OF FRUITS AND VEGGIES
If you are doubtful
about eating fruits and vegetables, try being kid-like.
Take a chance, and allow yourself to play with your food because
one article states that sensory play is the
forerunner to tasting fruits and vegetables you play with! (4) It is successful with preschool kids who attempted tasting
their “play” fruits and veggies! Palmer Chiropractic Center would love to
hear your stories if you take a stab at this!
