Will chiropractic care hurt?

Visits to our chiropractor should not hurt. Many of the movements are very similar to the type of care you may receive by a massage therapist. Afterwards, it is possible for muscles to feel slightly sore the next day, but our chiropractor will review ways to minimize this during your appointment.

Will chiropractic care work right away?

In many cases, patients leave our office feeling immediately better. Because muscles tend to move back into their old positions, however, it's possible for the pain to come back. It's important to follow the entire course of treatment.

How can I prevent the pain from coming back?

Our chiropractor will talk to you about different stretches and exercises that you can do in between visits. Done consistently, these moves will help to strengthen your back muscles and over time will do a lot to not only reduce your pain but prevent future injuries.

I'm on pain medication. Can I still see a chiropractor?

Absolutely! Chiropractic care can complement the care you receive in a traditional doctor's office. In fact, many doctors recommend that their patients see a chiropractor when traditional medicine cannot do enough.
