Stimpod NMS460: Advanced Pain Relief Technology

Stimpod NMS460 is a noninvasive neuromodulation device designed to help reduce pain and improve nerve function by gently stimulating the nervous system. It uses pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) technology through surface electrodes placed on the skin to influence how nerves transmit pain signals. This allows us to target irritated or hypersensitive nerves without injections, surgery, or medication.

How Stimpod NMS460 Works

Stimpod NMS460 delivers very specific electrical pulses that interact with peripheral nerves and surrounding tissues. These signals aim to:

  • Modulate abnormal pain signaling from irritated or oversensitive nerves
  • Calm nerve-related inflammation and reduce sensitivity
  • Improve communication between nerves and muscles
  • Support the body’s natural healing processes in damaged or irritated tissues

Treatments are typically comfortable. Patients often feel a mild tingling or pulsing sensation in the area being treated. Sessions are usually brief, and there is no downtime, so you can return to normal activities right away.

Conditions Stimpod NMS460 May Help

Because it targets nerve function and pain signaling, Stimpod NMS460 can be useful for many pain-related and nerve-related conditions, including:

  • Neuralgia and nerve pain (such as burning, shooting, or tingling pain)

    Conditions Stimpod can treat

  • Chronic pain that has not responded well to traditional therapies
  • Peripheral neuropathy–type symptoms like numbness, tingling, or hypersensitivity
  • Radicular pain patterns, such as pain radiating into the arms or legs
  • Post-surgical or post-injury nerve irritation (case-dependent)
  • Headaches and facial pain with a nerve component
  • Chronic musculoskeletal pain that appears to have a strong nerve or sensitivity component

In many cases, Stimpod NMS460 is used alongside chiropractic care, soft tissue therapies, exercise, and other conservative treatments to improve overall results.

What to Expect During Treatment

A typical visit with Stimpod NMS460 may include:

Stimpod treatment of Median Nerve

  • A focused examination to determine whether your condition is appropriate for neuromodulation
  • Placement of small electrodes on the skin over specific nerve pathways or painful regions
  • A series of controlled electrical pulses delivered through the device, adjusted to your comfort level
  • Monitoring of your response during and after treatment to guide future sessions

Treatments are noninvasive and drug-free. Many patients notice changes in their pain pattern, sensitivity, or movement within a short period, although results vary from person to person and some conditions require a series of visits.

Why Our Office Uses Stimpod NMS460

Our goal is to provide safe, conservative options that focus on the root causes of pain, not just masking symptoms. Stimpod NMS460 fits well within this approach because it:

  • Targets nerve function, a common driver of stubborn or chronic pain
  • Can be combined with chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work, and rehabilitative exercise
  • Offers a noninvasive alternative for patients who are not ready for or cannot tolerate more invasive procedures
  • Helps us create individualized care plans for complex nerve-related and pain-related conditions

If you are experiencing chronic pain, nerve symptoms, or pain that has not improved with other treatments, Stimpod NMS460 may be an option for you. To find out whether this therapy is appropriate for your condition, please contact our office to schedule an evaluation.
